Tooling Gel Coat APG 1750 Improved!

Revised formula, better handling!

Our high performance, styrene free tooling gel coat has been improved. While the product, now known as APG 1750 S, has always had exceptional high temperature performance, now its handling characteristics have been improved to match:

Sprays easily, without thinning, in conventional gel coat equipment.
No fisheyes on properly prepared plug surfaces.
Stays in place when applied to vertical surfaces.
Styrene free to help in meeting emissions standards.

Our Technical Staff improved the handling and were able to keep the service temperature of >400F (>200C), and the ability to laminate with epoxy systems without use of a tie coat. These characteristics are ideal for advanced composite applications such as large infusion tools, or prepreg tools for use in an autoclave.
